[Outsource:61510] Urgent SAP ABAP(RICEF) Developer Need in CA, Rate: $60/hr

Our client in San Francisco, CA is looking for a Sr. ABAP Developer. We are seeking a senior SAP contractor can pick up a longer term contractor's work in a very short period of time. Must have experience in SAP Plant Maintenance, preventive maintenance. ABAP skills of customized screens, ALV reports, interface, conversion and/or SAP forms are required. Performance tuning and debugging skill is a must. No travel or expenses are anticipated. Position will not require in-person interviews

Responsibilities:
RICEF development, testing, implementation and post go live support including the following tasks
• Business requirements mapping
• Direct engagement in business processes
• Performance tuning
• Actively participate in unit, integration & user acceptance testing and cutover process
• Follow client's SAP rules, process and procedures
• Mentor and knowledge transfer to develops
• Complete technical documentation

Qualifications:

SAP programmer with 1 to 3 years in Plant Maintenance module or 8 to 10 years in any of the SAP modules and familiarize with recent SAP technologies.
Minimum of 3 recent years of strong SAP ABAP development which entails at least 5 of the following skill set:
Experience in SAP screen programming
Development of reports using SAP controls like ALV Grid, Tree
Development of interfaces with XI/PI, IDOC, RFC, SFTP or XML
Knowledge of SAP scripts, Smartform or Adobe Forms,
Familiarization with BAPI, BADI, User Exit, Enhancement spot
Development of ABAP Web Dynpro
Knowledge of SAP portal iView, work set, portal roles
Experience in performance tuning
Extensive experience in ABAP debugging.

Additionally, Good communication skills, Team player, Fast Learner are a must.

Need to have worked on all facets of SAP Projects

Expertise in Production Support and troubleshooting

Expertise in SAP PP-PI and all other Logiscts and Supply Chain modules (MM, WM, PP, QM, SD)

Should have experience with SAP Interfaces

Have a solid understanding of ABAP to help debug issues (Not an ABAP Coder)

• Provides functional expertise during business blueprinting.

• Participate in gathering and documenting Systems Requirements Specifications.

• Provide input to and during the analysis of the "As-Is" and "To-Be" processes, specifically from local regulations and statutory requirements standpoint.

• Provide input to and during the analysis process in terms of how SAP meets local regulations and requirements.

• Proven history of strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

• Ability to work with minimum supervision and under severe time constraints.

• Flexibility to travel full time for extended duration (few weeks at a time), as the project requires.

• Experience working on multiple medium sized projects at once.

• Significant experience in the Pharmaceutical sector or in other FDA regulated industries. At lease 2 full implementation cycles in the functional area.

• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and local regulations.

• Experience in the implementation of the PP, MM, QM and WM Modules.

• Experience with Product Planning, Manufacturing Execution, Inventory/Warehouse Management, Bar Coding, Product Costing, and Quality Management.
