QA Analyst

3-6 months extendable
Reporting to the VP of Information Technology, the position includes full life cycle QA activities from development to implementation.
This is not your everyday QA job. This is an opportunity and our ideal candidate will be someone who has proven knowledge of QA methodologies including manual and automated testing procedures. Prior experience with C#, VB.NET, and ASP.NET environments required. The candidate should also have the interpersonal skills to work closely with other members of the technical team as well as other cross functional groups within our organization. Additionally, the candidate should be a strong team player with a winning positive attitude and someone who thrives in a self directed entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
• Develops and documents QA standards.
• Conducts full life cycle QA testing including executing manual and automated scripts
• Defines, develops and implements QA test automation tools.
• Defines and tracks QA metrics such as defect find/fix rates and test coverage.
What you need:
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in computer science or related technical discipline.
• 7 years of progressively more responsible QA experience during all phases of development.
• Working experience with automated test frameworks would be a definite plus.
• Working knowledge of web-related technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery.
