Title: Oracle Inventory consultant
Location: Atlanta/Alpharetta
Duration: 7 months

Description:
The Oracle Inventory Consultant is a techno/functional role that involves Oracle EBS 11.5.10 Applications.

Specifically with Oracle Inventory, Oracle Order Management, and Oracle Purchasing modules.

The role is for the lead Business Systems Analyst for the Field Inventory Planning and Replenishment. This includes a custom program that calculates optimal min/max spare levels based on a number of business rules and configurations. The spare levels are set at the sub inventory min/max levels to trigger replenishment planning at the sub inventory level. The ideal candidate would have experience min/max or reorder point planning with Oracle Inventory and understand the setups and data flows of replenishment requests via the Internal Requisition and Internal Sales Order process.

The Consultant will support efforts to complete testing and deployment of the solution for the first phase of the project. The second phase will include identifying customer requirements.

Software Engineers with J2EE, RedHat Linux and Oracle (11g) development skills. These are mid to senior level (5+ years) positions

requiring very strong communication skills and team lead experience. Candidate(s) MAY have some Lead roles
Scope of role: Individual contributor on team of 15-20 developers dedicated to re-engineering existing applications and development of

new modules.

Required skills:
J2EE
RedHat Linux
Some SUN Solaris environment experience is preferred.
Oracle 11g
PL/SQL
Agile development methodology
WebSphere v6-7x
Eclipse, Spring, Struts
JUnit testing
Command of the English language is required
Team lead experience with ability to manage collaborative development meetings and ability to interface with end-users.

Knowledge/ Mental Effort/ Skill Required

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent field strongly desired.
Minimum of five to eight years of technical experience. In-depth knowledge of client/server computer environment and the ability to

In-depth knowledge of relational database theory and one year experience with a relational database product. Understanding of Object Oriented development techniques such as object inheritance, encapsulation and object reuse.
Assigned work involves broad range of complex design and programming. Provides input to technology strategy. Works under heavy

deadlines and may be subject to heavy workloads.
Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.

"Nice to have" or "preferred".
Primarily RedHat LINUX environment
Client is moving away from Sun Solaris platforms.
Oracle 11g database
