Product Experience : At least 2 years on Versata DCM (Distribution Channel Management) solution –

This is Insurance and Brokerage industry specific distribution management and compensation product.

Job Description :

· The person needs to have good knowledge of Versata DCM configurations, reporting features, how it is integrated out other applications, Loader and extractors etc.

· Ability to work with multiple stake holders - Client Business Teams, Product teams and Client technology teams for gathering business requirements

· Develop system requirements in conjunction with Versata product team and Client technology teams

· Review business & system requirements gathered by Versata product team for product configuration

· Understand all business terminology and provide inputs to Infosys team

· Validate architecture with respect to business functionality

· Validate High level design with respect to system requirements

· Coordinate with offshore teams and KT all the information gathered at onsite

· Ability to create schedules and project plans based on the system requirements

· Hands on experience in Java and should be able to easily understand the internals of how data goes into and comes out DCM product

· Low level design for DCM

· Code reviews

· Code development

Hi All,

This is my direct-client opening for a C++ Developer located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a long-term contract and the rate Depends on Experience.

Minimum Required Skills:

C++ Developer – minimum of 7 yrs experience (any less will not be considered)

Must be a C++ developer for applications (not embedded)

Must have worked with UNIX and RDBMS

Ideal Skills:

Understanding of different technologies such as: Java, Awk, Perl, and Shell scripts
Must have solid understanding of 3 Tier Architecture to include; Middle Tier
Must have solid understanding of application memory management
Must understand large data flow and relationship between external feeds and internal systems
7+ years of C/C++ development experience
2+ years of Visual Basic experience
5+ years (and recent) experience with UNIX and Sybase
Must have previous experience working with Terabytes of Data
Demonstrated experience with the full software development lifecycle.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work as a team, collaborate well with others, achieve expected results in a fast paced environment

MUST HAVE STRONG AB INITIO & Teradata utilities experience (such as bteq, tpump, multi-load, fast-load, etc.); MUST HAVE STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS!

Master Level ETL Specialist to manage Enterprise-level AbIntio and Teradata environments. Candidate should have in-depth knowledge of backup and performance management, writing and managing scripts run in UNIX environments, full development lifecycle for AbInitio development, etc.
Responsible for the design, development and administration of transactional and analytical data constructs/structures. Included within those responsibilities are the areas of data access and delivery technologies.

Includes expertise in data mining, Extract Transform Load (ETL), design and documentation of data movement schemes, and mapping between applications. Usually includes experience in Ab Initio or other ETL products. May include experience in logical data model development

The environment needs the candidate to have an understanding and experience in Teradata development and Unix scripting. A bachelor's degree or above in MIS, Computer Science or related field and Teradata certification is highly preferred.

5+ years Technology specific experience (multiple technologies)
2-3 years experience in domain
Develops advanced domain specific technology solutions and guides their development into a final product.
Leads multiple work-streams in delivering solutions
Works independently
Experience in managing Onsite-Offshore model.
Nice to have experience with /BankingMortgage industry.
Data mapping experience in implementation and design (5+yrs.)
ETL experience in implementation and design (5+yrs.)
MUST have solid AbInitio experience
Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels (Executive Sponsors to team members).

Preferred experience
• 2 plus years of previous COF experience
• Experience working on a Basel II project
• 5 plus years experience with Financial Services clients
