QA Lead with Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance Industry
Work Location: Philadelphia, PA, USA

QA Project Lead with P&C Insurance industry
Job Summary:
Ideal candidate must possess a solid understanding of the technology and the Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance industry.
Must be skilled in working within a business group to understand workflow and business rules to create and execute test plans and test cases.
Effective oral & written communication skills are essential.
Primary duties include:
• Designing, developing, and authoring test plans, test cases and test scripts that are appropriate to meet varying test objectives (functional, integration, regression, and acceptance)
• Conducting quality assurance testing and analyzes test results in order to discover and report any defects, errors, configuration issues, interoperability flaws, and opportunities for enhancements. Identifies and tracks defects that are uncovered as a result of the testing process.
• Collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements, systems goals and fulfill project requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in computer science, MIS, Software/Computer Engineering, or related field
• Experience with HP Quality Center or Microsoft Test Manager in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment and best practices
• Detail Oriented
• Experience with designing test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures – minimum 8 years in testing
• Knowledge of Software QA Methodology
• Ability to interact with business, technical, and project management teams to report problems, and provide risk assessments.
• Experience using Microsoft products: .NET, Windows XP, Windows 7, Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Independent, self-motivated
• Work with teams across the globe
• Ability to Travel
