The ability to develop and deploy data movement applications using extract, transform, and load (ETL) techniques adopted for business intelligence (BI), which includes the use of tools and programming languages to produce data movement, meta data and data quality components.

The following knowledge is required for this skill:

- Client Knowledge

- Database basic knowledge

- Structured approach to designing data integration,

- Issuance procedures and basic knowledge Marketable (Industry) Knowledge

- UNIX scripting language

- Autoflow basic knowledge

- Relational/Dim modeling basic knowledge

- RMS - Service Desk

- UNIX editor basic knowledge

This role is more of a Front end role - and candidate will be providing front end technical User Support
Day to day they will be adding functionality to the Oracle EBS applications and they will be providing User Support in house at USP, as well as globally

Summary of the Position:
The Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Application Specialist will work in a diverse and dynamic environment with a team of developers, DBA's, business analysts
and end users. He/she is responsible for continuous enhancement and support of Oracle EBS application for various business divisions. The role requires
understanding business requirements and developing solutions by leveraging standard functionality. He/she should possess strong functional and business
domain knowledge to ensure Oracle EBS solutions are configured to meet business requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide expert functional and high level technical direction around specific business requirements to provide guidance around cross-module dependencies and impact Serve as a liaison between business analysts, system owners and developers to research, analyze, and validate business solutions to ensure the most appropriate and effective solutions are implemented to support the business objective Lead and participate in functional design reviews and implement enhancements for Oracle E-Business Suite application aligning with business needs
Perform functional analysis for the requirements gathered by business analysts, perform impact analysis to provide detailed functional design document of the desired application changes
Investigate system options, profile options, flex-fields, setups to provide functional expertise on upgrading to new application releases, new functionality Review and analyze existing application customizations and extensions. Develop strategies for leveraging out-of-box functionality to develop and enhance Oracle EBS applications
Responsible for functional design, configuration change, setup, test and implementation for on-going Oracle EBS production support Actively perform root cause analysis to refine processes
Provide production support for ongoing maintenance and enhancement of custom programs that interface with third party vendors and other internalsystems
Coordinate work efforts with developers for application changes and system performance issues
Pursue innovative ways to improve the process of delivering solutions to Oracle E-Business users.
Proactively work through service requests with Oracle support as needed
Provide applications documentation and periodic activity reports by demonstrating reduction in backlog.

Job Description:
The developer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the existing framework as well as performing upgrades.
The developer is expected to develop in both Java, Swing, ExtJS and/or Sencha Touch, for both the UI and the Service layer.
A successful candidate must have both client and server hands-on experience.

Project 1:
Portfolio Construction is a Swing/J2EE Portfolio Management tool, used internally by our Portfolio Managers to look at their holdings, view research, analytical data, risk information, and real-time data.

Project 2:
The Mobile Platform is an HTML5 based mobile application written using Sencha Touch.

Position Requirements:
Senior Java developer with at least 6 years hands-on experience.
At least 2 years experience building UI applications using Sencha EXT JS, JQuery or Sencha Touch.
Solid knowledge of javascript and css3.
Prior experience working on enterprise financial applications is a plus.
Candidate must have a solid understanding of core Java technologies.
Candidate must have strong working experience with J2EE technologies.
Needs to be able to produce code in a fast pace environment.
Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL (Oracle preferred).
Strong problem solving and debugging skills required.
