Required Skills

(Minimum Mandatory Capabilities)

• 8+ Years of Oracle Database Application Development
• Experience and solid understanding of Financial accounting (especially General and Sub Ledgers, Trial Balance and Balance sheet)
• Experience in data conversion, feed development and analysis from Accounting and other transactional systems to Data Warehouse/Data Store applications
• Extensive experience in Data Analysis and reconciliations of Transactional systems to Data Warehouse applications
• Experience in Data Warehousing and Operational Data Store applications using Relational, Star schema and Snowflakes schemas
• Experience with Data Warehousing Concepts and application of the same in real project scenarios
• Design, Develop and execute Test Cases and OR work with Quality Analysis team to define test strategy and test cases
• Experience in writing the Functional and Technical requirements; Experience in relating business requirements into technical requirements
• Oracle 10g (or later versions) Database Application Programming/Development
  Oracle OLAP
• Oracle 10g SQL and PL/SQL Stored Procedures & Standard Packages
• Oracle Objects and Methods, User-defined Data types & Complex Oracle Data types
• Oracle Analytical Functions,  Windowing Aggregate Functions, Table Functions
  User-defined Analytical and Windowing Aggregate Functions
• Oracle Security
• Analysis, Design and Data Modeling
• Unit, Integration and Regression Testing Techniques
• IBM-UNIX and Windows Vista, 2003 server and 2008 server
• SOX, CMM compliance

Sr. Oracle Programmer/Analysts

 

The candidates will perform some or all tasks associated with the full system development life cycle, as assigned by the project manager, including: Analysis, Design, Programming, Unit, Integration and Regression Testing, Implementation, Troubleshooting and Maintenance.

 

The candidates will be responsible for completion of assigned duties and report to the Project Manager.

 

·        Use communication skills in order to work with end users in analyzing their requirements.

·        Use analytical skills to learn our users' business processes, document the data and process models and troubleshoot and maintain existing applications.

·        Design systems that meet user requirements.

·        Write efficient, error free programs that are easily maintainable by other programmers and conform to Bank coding standards.

·        Develop systems in a team environment and contribute to overall efficiency by writing reusable code, and reusing code written by others, where appropriate.

·        Provide detailed project, program and system documentation and specifications that are understandable by other technical people.

·        Write applications that are easy to support and maintain and to provide testing routines (including regression testing), error handling and error logging as part of the applications delivered.

·        Use collaborative skills to work with database administrators, system managers and external application mangers in order to ensure reliability, availability, and performance of assigned applications.

·        Use analytical skills to troubleshoot and maintain applications as needed.

·        Collaborate with other technical people in a multicultural environment. 

·        Candidates should be self-starters who enjoy working with an international team of people.

·        Candidates must be able to multi-task their workload assignments.  Candidates must be fluent in spoken and written English, have strong writing and communication skills, and be excellent team players.
