Software Test Engineer (2010-0719-1)
Software Test Engineers are responsible for the on-going creation,
review and improvement of test cases used to evaluate software
developed in-house. They execute test cases on software deliverables
including the product itself, the installation and supporting
documentation. They are responsible for creating test plans, test
reports and participating in the release process to insure that it
complies with MSD quality systems. Software Test Engineer perform
regular 'smoke' testing of products during the development process to
provide early indications of issues in the software changes as well s
participate in the creation, review and updating of requirements, as
well as generating traceability to test.
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a computer science related discipline. * Five
(5) years of experience working as part of a senior-level team
initiating and completing testing activities. * Demonstrated
experience in facilitating formal testing processes, including the
initiation and follow-through on full lifecycle processes for test and
release of software. * Hands-on experience utilizing Test Director (or
similar test tools) and Requisite Pro (or other requirements tool).
