We are in urgent need of DB2 DPF Datawarehouse DBA:

Location: Hartford, CT
Duration: 6 Months+
Skills:

* DB2 DPF Data Warehouse DBA with strong design and modeling skills (IDA - Infosphere Data Architect). Dimension Modeling and HPDM experience preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years experience managing very large databases with 3 years in DB2 DPF on AIX. Experience should include architecture and design of population, access and maintenance functions, in conjunction with ETL and BI teams.
* At least 2 years of experience with DB2 9.5 in VLDB environment required.
* Experience in Planning, Configuring, and Deploying the hardware and software for large Warehouse platforms.
* Script Writing (Perl and Korn) and Job Automation.
* Database and Complex SQL Performance Tuning.
* Workload Manager experience preferred.
* Optim Performance Manager experience preferred.
* Experience in Healthcare Payor business preferred.
* Strong Leadership skills. Experience should include leading small teams, building relationships across teams, and managing multiple deliverables and timelines.
