Position : .Net Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6 Months
The successful candidate shall have a minimum of
• 7 years hands-on experience in design and development of .NET applications using C#.NET ,ASP.NET, JavaScript, and Team Foundation Server.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration, or equivalent work experience
• Solid working experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Web Services (ASMX & WCF).
• Experience with third party components such Telerik and Infragistics.
• Experience Debugging and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience with Micrsoft with Silverlight (preferred)
• Experience with Micrsoft Expression Blend (preferred)
• Experience with Infopath (preferred)
Preferred Business Experience
• 1 or more years of contracting experience at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) or another Federal agency
• Hands on experience working with a Grant Management System
The individual is expected to take responsibility for the appearance, functionality and effectiveness of the solutions. The successful candidate will have the ability to prioritize and plan work to meet competing schedules; the ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with people at various levels of responsibility; and be able to deal with distractions and still meet deadlines. The Computer Programmer is responsible for form design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation and possesses full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and development.
The core duties of the Senior System Analyst are:
- Plans, manages, and controls the activities required to ensure that the overall program achieves its objectives and timescales
- Ensures all parties are aware of the project scope, milestones, and deliverables
- Works collaboratively with internal and external parties
- Responsible for adherence to CDC standards and industry best practices
- Participates in application design efforts
- Contribute to application design, analysis, JAD, and application prototyping sessions
- Assist with application test planning and execution
- Provide software development in InfoPath, C#, .Net with MS SQL Server and/or SharePoint Server backend
- Develop innovative, high quality, highly scalable and easily supportable electronic forms integrating with Outbreak Management System software application.
- Support System Architects and Project Manager to write, revise and finalize user specifications, technical documentation, and other descriptive documentation.
- Participate in quality assurance reviews to ensure high quality and consistent coding practices
- Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written and for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
