Location   :   Lexington, KY
Duration  :    12 Months
Rate           :    $35/Hr

 

Description:
.NET developer needed to join current development team supporting an existing network and database centric application

 

Successful candidates should have the following skills and qualifications
*Working knowledge and experience in Visual Studio 2005, 2008 and 2010 IDE (Development Environment)
*Visual Basic .NET 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 Framework
*Build and manage Window Services using VB.Net
*Build and manage Windows Form Applications using VB.Net
*Build and manage Window Command Line Applications using VB.Net
*Build and manage Windows Web Sites using VB.Net, JavaScript and AJAX
*Build and manage dlls using VB.Net
*Build and manage Window Applications that utilize and interact with Web Services using VB.Net
*Understanding and working knowledge of multi-threaded resources
*Understanding how to commute over TCP and UDP using VB.Net and resources
*Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server knowledge
*Basic SQL knowledge
*Understanding how to execute database functions from within VB.Net
*Understanding how to read and write basic database stored procedures
*Understanding of date and time formats and Functions VB.Net, MS SQL, and Oracle
*Working knowledge and experience with Windows XP Professional, Windows 7, Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Server in physical and virtual environments
*Must be able to develop proof of concepts and mockups with little to no UML design

 

Work to be performed in a standard office environment during normal working hours.
Some field support will be required
