We Need consultant for Senior JAVA Architect

Job title     :  Senior JAVA Architect
Location    :  Boston, MA
Duration   :  2+ Months
Rate            :  $75/Hr

 

One of our clients is planning to implement a new Warehouse Management System.  The users of this system will be Plant Manager,

Supervisor, Operator, etc.  The idea is to design an application framework, so we can plug-in the front-end system easily.  They are

currently looking for a senior Java/J2EE Architects whose primary responsibility is to convert the marketing requirements into functional requirements (both non-technical & technical)

 

Some of the sections these Architects need to cover as part of the functional requirements document includes:
Identifying the different types of services in the system
Defining the requirements for each service – It should be very detailed
Defining User Interface which includes actual screens
Defining configurations as needed for this system
Defining Architectural components
Defining Non-Functional requirements such as Performance Requirements, etc.

 

Ideally this functional requirements document should be the input for the Design team to start with application design and for QA team to write test cases.

 

Some of the skill sets as needed for this position includes, but not limited to:
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A general understanding of Service Oriented Architecture patterns and development methodologies
Highly experienced with Java, J2EE, XML, SOAP, SOA, advanced design patterns, and Web services
Experience in using Requirements Management Tool called "Contour" beneficial
UML experience beneficial (Client like to use Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect, though it's not essential)
Excellent interviewing and facilitation skills for gathering detailed, comprehensive requirements from Marketing and Client Performance team.
