Position: Mainframe Programmer-Analyst

Location: Madison, WI

Duration: 3-6Months

COBOL,CICS,Linux or Unix,MicroFocus COBOL,MicroFocus NetExpress

 

Description

Billing System Application code is a combination of COBOL, Copybooks and CICS which will need to be migrated from Cobol Mainframe to MicroFocus Cobol on client server to the LINUX platform using MicroFocus Tool (NetExpress). Once the migration has taken place, the contractors will need to be able to run tests to verify that the output of the mainframe code matches that which is produced on the LINUX platform. If the test results are not the same the client will expect the contractors to make the necessary modifications so that the outputs from the different platforms match. 5 to 8 years experience of COBOL, CICS, LINUX or UNIX. Solid experience with MicroFocus COBOL and NetExpress and are a must.
