We have immediate 6 months requirement for ETL Architect for Boston, MA. Any work authorization will work for the same.
Requirement
Title: ETL Architect
Duration: 6 months
Location: Boston, MA
Required Skills:
· Total 11+ Years of experience
· ETL Architect, Design & Development experience on
o Information Sever 8.x
o InfoSphere DataStage 8.x
o InfoSphere CDC - Very Important
o Information Analyzer
o Business Glossary
o Metadata Server/Workbench
· Should be able to create the overall ETL InfoSphere Framework
· Data Analyst & architect experience
· Good Communication skills
Responsibilities/ Activities :
· Create the overall ETL Strategy & Framework to cover all the InfoSphere components
· ETL Strategy & Framework should cover the following:
o CDC & Real time ETL using Data Stage
o Flat file Management, Parallel processes n Partition
o Audit & Error Handling
o Restart & recovery approach
o Metadata Management
· Coding standard, code review checklist, ETL performance guidelines
· Once we will finish above activities, they will kick off the actual business project:
o Understand the requirement, source systems
o Effort Estimation for implementing ODS, DWH layer
o Data Profiling & Analysis
o Creating the end to end ETL/Data Strategy
o ODS model – Foundation for DWH
o Design the ETL (HLD, LLD etc.) - Acquiring all the attributes from various source applications into ODS layer
o ETL Implementation
