3 QTP Test Engineers

Location: San Antonio, TX

Duration: 6-Months+

Rate:$30/hr on C2C  

Test Automation Engineers to test case software QTP 9.0 or higher with extensive knowledge of manual VB script writing as well as recording scripts.
Responsible for all facets of Automation Engineering using QTP as an automation tool.
HP Quality Center for the analysis, designing, developing and automating of test cases/scenarios (regression and new functionality) in VB scripting language using QTP tools (in order to use QTP effectively) and SQL.
Strong testing experience, troubleshoot software / hardware configuration problems, need to be able to read and understand the framework written in the VB scripting language.
Able to interprete manual test cases requirement specifications. Duties include: building automated testing architectures / frameworks, with the ability to design and develop as well maintenance of all comprehensive automated test cases in QTP. The candidate will need to have experience in mainframe and GUI applications.
Experience/ Required Skills:
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in automation using QTP
Minimum of 3 years experience with scripting, VBScript preferred.
Minimum of 2 year experience building and maintaining test automation architectures /frameworks
Automate manual testing scripts/cases into QTP including heavy VB Scripting - creation & maintenance, Parameterization,
Checkpoints & Data Validation, Descriptive Programming, Quality Center Organizational, Linking test cases to requirements
HP AIS certification in QTP is a plus
Financial domain experience, strong Database skills and Web based testing.
2 years experience with web applications development
Working knowledge of programming languages, testing process, testing methodology analysis and relational database systems, including SQL query development
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
Experience designing/architecting automation framework
