SHAREPOINT 2010 DEVELOPER

Duration: 6+ months
JOB DESCRIPTION
· Should be well versed with SharePoint 2010 Object Hierarchy and have SharePoint 2010 development experience in the areas of Web Part development and deployment
· Should be able to convert business requirement into SharePoint solution with appropriate site hierarchy
· Good Hands on experience in creation and deployment of Event Receivers, Workflows, Features, Site Templates and Site Definition customizations.
· Should have good knowledge in site branding such as creating Master Pages, Page Layouts and custom site styles & themes
· Should have good knowledge in creating site navigation or reusing OOTB navigation controls
· Good Knowledge in site customization using SharePoint Designer 2010
· Experience in creating OOTB and custom content types
· Should have good knowledge in OOTB web parts such as Content editor web part, Calendar, Content Query web part, Quick links etc.,
· Should have good programming knowledge in both server side and client side object model
· Strong implementation experience in .NET 3.5 framework
· Development experience on Web Services/ WCF Services
· Good Hands on in XML , XSLT, Ajax
· Experience with CSS, JavaScript and JQuery
· Should possess knowledge in writing CAML queries
· Should be able to define user groups and custom permissions levels at various levels such as site collection, sites, lists, folders etc.,
· Experience in creating and deploying SharePoint Designer 2010 workflows
· Strong experience in creating and deploying WSP packages at farm level
· Hands on experience custom Forms creation in SharePoint Designer and InfoPath forms
· Experience in configuring the Search for the site collection which include the creation of scopes, creating managed property, applying rules for the search crawl
· Good to have knowledge to implement FAST Search
· Experience in planning and creating Taxonomies at Farm/Site level
· Experience in writing LINQ queries
· Knowledge of Design Patterns in the area of .NET / ASP.NET / C# / Visual Studio 2008/2010
· Should have knowledge in Team Foundation Server (Versioning System)
· Should possess knowledge in unit testing of custom developed components to manage all the custom components
· Good to have knowledge in creating stored procedures in SQL Server 2008/ SSRS/ SSAS integration with SharePoint 2010
· Good to know Silver light to create controls and deploy in SharePoint site
· Good to have knowledge in 3rd party controls such as controls from Bamboo solutions, Keystone from BITKOO
· Good to know the Microsoft coding practices and SharePoint best practices
· Develop configurable and reusable business solutions on the SharePoint platform
· Experience in deployment strategies.
