Job Description:

 

Role: JAVA Developer       

Location: NYC

Duration: 12+ months

 

Main Function

* Ability to build against application requirements making sure that the quality of the software delivery is able to cope with updates to those

requirements.

 

* Work closely with other developers in the group in order to put together a robust solution for Trade Booking needs in the Securitized

Products business.

 

* Collaborate with members of other teams to ensure architectura l consistency and to maximize re-use.

 

* Participate in architecture design meetings.

 

Desired qualities and experience

* Hands-on Java (1.6) backend development experience

* Experience with JDBC

* Hands-on threading experience

* Linux experience including Scripting

* Experience on Securitized Products technology, ideally spanning across front-office and middle/back-office.

* Oracle 10/11 experience

* Experience with messaging software (tibco, solace, mq)

* Exposure to Automated Testing

* Good communication skills

* Enjoy working in a dynamic team environment with talented individuals

from diverse backgrounds.
