Position: 1

Title: UI-Java Developer

Duration: 6 months

Location: Minneapolis, MN

 

Remote possibility with Occasional travelling

The candidate will need to submit example of their UI work

 

The following requirements are mandatory. Candidates without experience in the indicated areas will not be considered:

·         jQuery

·         CSS2 (CSS3 preferred)

·         HTML4 (with HTML5 preferred)

·         JavaScript

·         XML or JSON, preferably both

In addition, the candidate will also design and create server-side support logic using the following:

·         SOAP-based web services

·         Java Servlets or other web framework development

·         Design patterns

The ideal candidate will also have experience working on public-facing web applications and understand the security and scalability issues of such applications.

 

Position: 2

Title: Sr. Java Tech Lead

Location: New York City, NY

Duration: 6+ Months

Interview type: Telephonic + in person

 

Need Locals/who can come for Face-Face with own expenses

Skills and Experience:

Development skills

Required

·         Good working knowledge of current Java development practices, able to trace build failures to source issues

·         Knowledge of integration testing techniques

·         Knowledge of development for RDBMS using procedural languages such as PL/SQL or T-SQL

Build automation and CI skills

Required

·         Extensive experience in automating builds using Maven, Ant and GNU Make

·         Good working knowledge of Maven plugin configuration and modular Maven builds

 

CI build platforms and configuration

Required

·         Working knowledge of Linux OS configuration, including package management systems such as RPM, some shell scripting

·         Configuration and customisation of popular CI build systems e.g. Hudson, Continuum

·         Experience of working with a repository manager such as Nexus, Artifactory or Archiva

 

Deployment targets / platforms

Required

·         Extensive experience with open-source application containers e.g. Mule ESB, Tomcat

·         Experience of automated deployment and configuration of a major RDBMS e.g. Oracle,  Sybase

Other skills/background

Required                              

·      Experience as a tech lead or other leadership role.

·      Alternatively experience with mentoring and coaching less experienced developers and ability to influence, identify and manage risks and issues.
