Position: Sr. Engineer, Software Engineering / QA Tester
Location: Vancouver, Canada
Data Warehouse - Sr. Engineer, Software Engineering / QA Tester for a project in Vancouver, Canada. This position will require you travel 100 % to Vancouver primarily. If selected for the project you will be able to fly home every other weekend.
The selected candidate must meet or exceed the following requirements:
- 5 years of Oracle SQL experience with batch backend system testing.
- 5 years of large scale product software testing experience.
- Experience in creating test cases and test traceability from box level requirements and scenarios.
- Advanced query writing skills.
- Experience in Using FILE MAKER is a plus.
- 2-3 yrs of automated tools experience. SELENIUM is a plus.
- Experience in writing test plans and test cases.
- Must have experience in writing efficient, testable, and maintainable Oracle SQL code.
- Must have senior level Oracle SQL development and testing experience.
- The candidate must have some Financial Services and/ or Banking experience.
- Experience testing in an ETL / BI data warehousing project.
- Must have Software Test Case Development experience.
- Experience in testing new applications and customization.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical training to other team members.
ü Bachelors degree is required
ü Travel Required: 100%
