Here is the job description:

Role Description:
This role is part of Avaya's SAP Solution Center. Provide technical expertise in support of Avaya's SAP environment and work on projects to improve and upgrade the SAP landscape. Works with other members of the Solution Center as well as other IT groups, to design solutions based on requirements as defined by the functional analysts. Provide in-depth technical consultation to end users and the IT community to ensure development of efficient solutions utilizing established standards, procedures and methodologies.

Must haves:
· 6+ years of SAP technical experience, to include versions 4.6c and ECC6
· Experience must include: ABAP, ALE, IDOCs, ABAP Proxy's, BDC/LSMW, Smart forms/SAP Scripts, ALV Reports, Enhancements (user-exits, BADI, Enhancement framework), RFC/BAPI/Web Services.
· Must have participated in at least 2 full lifecycle implementations in a Technical role, preferably as a lead.
· Must have good understanding of database design and understanding of object oriented design (familiarity with object oriented design paradigms is a big plus)
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Solid understanding and experience with Software Development Lifecycle
· Excellent consultative and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
· SAP Certification required, unless significant additional experience beyond the minimum required can be demonstrated.

Nice to have:
· Functional knowledge of core SAP modules (FICO, SD, MM)

Experience with HCM
Experience with ADOBE forms, WebDynpro, Workflow, XI/PI and XML knowledge is a plus
· Experience with SAP Solution Manager

Basically, we are looking for someone with strong ABAP knowledge and understanding of one or more functional areas.
HR experience a plus.
