Position: Client Server Security Engineer (Product Specialist)

Description:

 

The person in this position performs highly advanced technical support for the Department's information security program. Under the direction of the Chief Information Security Office this position will assist with the planning, designing, implementation and maintenance of security systems. This person will be responsible for the day to day support and upkeep of the department's security applications on an as needed basis. The individual will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of these systems is maintained. The person in this position will assist with the design and maintenance of the department's firewalls.

Skill Required / Desired Candidate Experience Last Used Lead role as an enterprise IT security specialist Required - 1 years     Hands-on experience with Checkpoint firewalls required Required - 3 years     In-depth knowledge of PC operations, and PC encryption Required - 5 years     Hands-on experience in developing DR plans. Required - 5 years     Perform security assessments Desired - 2 years     Network and Information Security Required - 4 years     Strong knowledge PC connectivity products and PC hardware connectivity Required - 5 years     Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Visio) Highly desired - 6 months     Develop/present recommendations to senior management Highly desired - 1 years
