Senior SQA Engineer
• Develops and executes QA test plans, scenarios & test cases for
functional, regression, system-level and operational test activities •
Performs test cycle planning and risk-based testing decisions on
assigned projects • Represents QA in cross-functional team meetings •
Identifies and logs defects and drives resolution/validation of fixes
• Reports test metrics, defect trends and project status to manager
and cross-functional stakeholders • Implements automation and
regression testing solutions • 2-6 years in an Engineering role • 2+
years of direct experience in Software Quality Assurance • 2+ year of
development experience with some or all of the following tools and
languages: Ruby on Rails, QTP Visual Basic and Perl scripts • 2+ years
experience using and writing complex SQL queries for MySQL and Oracle
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows command line programming •
Proficiency with various SDLCs, including exposure to Agile
environments • Ability to maintain owner, user, group permissions in
Windows and Linux with familiarity of basic network administration
functions • Exposure to RSS and SVN • Additional experience with JIRA,
AppWrx, Sellenium, Java Script, or Java a plus • Some understanding of
WebApps and cloud computing theory and practices
