Position: Health Business Analyst:

Rate - $40/hr

Location -Bloomington, IL

 

 

This person will be a member of the Life Health Solution Center – Health Support team.
He/she will work closely with our business partners in Corporate Health to support the goals of our Health Insurance business and overall State Farm initiatives. They will complete the various tasks and activities of a business analyst and other relevant activities.

ADDITIONAL QUALITIES/SKILLS
-  Knowledge of State Farm Health Products
-  Health Underwriting and Claims experience and Health Individual Claim Systems knowledge with exposure/experience in EDI processing desired.
-  Excellent Customer Service skills especially in difficult situations
-  Strong communication (oral and written) and organization skills
-  Ability to coordinate the activities of others
-  Positive attitude; accountable and flexible
-  Ability to work independently and produce results
-  Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work tasks with competing deadlines
-  Ability to research and analyze situations and problems to develop logical and appropriate recommendations.


Experience with fundamental software tools such as Word, Excel, and others is preferred
Knowledge of HP Service Desk preferred, but not required
Knowledge of project management processes or the willingness to learn them
