Must have Dashboards experience and prefer someone who can lead.
Provides technical direction and management in the maintenance and development of the reporting components of the data warehouse. Maintains an understanding of the definitions, analyses and reporting outputs from the data warehouse. Manages the analysis, design, development and implementation of new reporting requirements and provides estimates to support timelines and deliverables. Ensures the testing and verification of new reporting processes. Acts as a manager and is responsible for planning and monitoring schedule milestones and deliverables. Possesses strong SDLC experience and manages appropriate levels of documentation as required.
At least 6 years of reports development and design experience in a data warehousing setting.
Possess a 4 Year Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of experience.
Specific Job Description
MicroStrategy Developer, Administrator Skill-Set/Responsibilities
· Architect, Develop, Test and Implement MicroStrategy Project
· Hands on experience in leading and developing complex Dynamic Dashboards using multiple data sets, Report Services Document and Intelligent Cubes
· Develop, maintain and communicate MicroStrategy and other BI tools best practices and standards
· Proven excellence in installing, configuring Microstrategy servers on UNIX environment
· Experience in MicroStrategy Administrative tasks such User Management, Object Management, I-Server tuning, Web Administration and Enterprise Manager
· Participate in migrating reports existing in Cognos BI Environment to MicroStrategy environment
· Excellent knowledge of Data modeling and Datawarehousing concepts
· Excellent SQL programming skills along with good familiarity of ETL tools particularly Informatica 8.x
· Strong data analysis and analytical skills
· Knowledge of the SDLC processes
· Team player and capability to work in a dynamic environment
· MicroStrategy Certification a plus
