Project Architect
Location-Minnesota
Duration: 6months
In this role, Architecture on the Marketplace initiative, helping design and deliver both new applications and modifications to existing systems. You'll bridge between business and technical teams, creating solutions that balance business value with technical feasibility and long-term sustainability. You will create diagrams and documents, lead discussions and coordinate the efforts of multiple teams, in addition to writing and reviewing code. You'll be supported by the Dotcom Architecture team with subject matter expertise. Knowledge of designing applications to run at Web scale is required. Skills/experience Required Designing web-scale applications Strong written and verbal communications skills E-commerce UML Recommended Agile development Pair Programming Test-driven Development Infrastructure Automation (Chef in particular) Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit and JBehave in particular)
