Our client is looking for 2 Java Developer's for 6-12 month contract opportunity in Rancho Cordova, CA.

 

The Software Developer position requires strong business skills and is responsible for software development activities, including reviewing requirements, creating original designs and authoring original software solutions, creating and/or modifying systems code and functionality, testing, and debugging system software. The Software Developer consults with users to identify current functional and technical requirements, and to clarify program objectives. The Software Developer is also responsible for writing requirements, design, and technical documentation to describe custom configuration of applications and operating proceduresMust have at least 2 years experience working through the design, development, and release cycle delivering software to market.
•A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
•Experience developing web solutions using Java. Experience with GWT a plus.
•Experience with client-side JavaScript, HTML, CSS and XML.
•Experience with J2EE frameworks, Java application servers and Java APIs.
•Experience developing software services using JBoss, JAX-WS, and Hibernate a plus.
•Experience developing software using Microsoft .NET, C# a plus.
•Experience with SQL programming, with PL/SQL programming experience desired.
•Familiarity with development of high-performance Oracle/SQL Server stored procedures and functions.
•Demonstrated ability to document source code, preferably with Javadoc.
•Familiarity with build systems (Ant or Maven), and Linux or Unix.
•Proficiency with software source control tools such as Mercurial, CVS, and Subversion.
•Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit.
•Technical experience with systems networking, databases, Client-Server, and multi-tier applications development desired.
•Large / enterprise application development experience preferred.
•Experience in the development of software for low-level communications and direct device control/automation strongly desired
