Role:  COGNOS ADMIN 

 Detailed Description:  

Cognos Administrator

 
Ability to design, deliver and optimize Cognos BI tools in both ROLAP and
MOLAP architectures including reporting and dashboard development and design

Must be familiar with Cognos Framework Model, Report Studio and Powerplay
Transformer
Ability to write scripts/macros in order to automate tasks is a big plus
Ability to collaborate with cross functional team
Good communication skills and ability to document production processes
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT problems with strong analytical and
critical thinking skills
Technical skills in troubleshooting reports and keeping abreast of new
reporting technologies and methods
Maintain technical skills at a level commensurate with a BI consultant in
the industry, keeping abreast of new technologies and methods
Some basic background in financial/insurance would be a big plus Must be
able to translate the business requirements and develop report requirements
