Job Title: .Net Lead or Architect

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 6 Months+

Skills: Microsoft Visual Studio.net, VB 6.0, Java Script, ASP.Net, VB.Net, ADO.Net, C#.Net, XML Web Services, SQL Server

Description:

·         8-10 years of experience in Business Systems Analysis and Project Management.

·         Experience coordinating and facilitating meetings with clients, stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and vendors including communicating key discussion points to management.

·         Proven experience in porting projects – reverse engineering existing applications to unearth as-is business logic and defining and documenting the to-be model.

·         Past software development experience in scripting languages and/or integrated development environment, web applications and databases

·         Demonstrated experience gathering data from multiple stakeholder groups and aggregating results into reports using various tools including creating SQL queries/reports.

·         Demonstrated experience coordinating offshore/near-shore vendor activities including schedules, deliverables, and product testing.

·         Project management experience using tools and methods to support multiple projects, including budgeting, project status reporting, and coordinating activities to ensure timely delivery.

·         Must be proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio and Project

·         Must demonstrate strong ethics, influence & negotiation skills, leadership

·         Ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.

·         Requires excellent communication skills - candidates must have the ability to communicate with customers, vendors, management, etc. in both formal and informal situations.

·         A high degree of creative ability, analytical and technical skills and independent judgment.

·         Work well with the global organization consisting of offsite development groups, users, and partners.

·         Understanding of various configuration management/version control software – desired

·         Bachelors Degree MIS or Engineering or equivalent.
