Position: Sr Java Engineer
Location: Denver, CO

Job Description

 

Senior Software Engineer with 7 or more years of development experience.  The ideal candidate is a self-starter with exceptional communication, analytical skills, solid commercial Java server side, and Web 2.0 client development skills.   The candidate will augment a team of engineers designing and implementing new features in both the server and client side of hospital electronic medical record (EMR) applications.  The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and unit testing new functionality.  Additionally, the candidate will be required to work closely with analysts and product management during the design and implementation phases.

 

Required Skills:

1. Java 1.5/1.6
2. Spring
3. Hibernate
4. Web 2.0 development/AJAX
1. Some direct GWT experience required
5. JavaScript
6. Oracle SQL
7. Eclipse IDE
8. Ant
9. Test Driven Design
10. JUnit

Desired Skills:

1. StarTeam/SVN
2. Selenium
3. Knowledge of software security concepts
4. Health Care Industry Experience
