Role: .NET Quality Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Open- DOE
Description:
· Our client is look for top-notch software quality engineers for our .NET team.
· This position will require extensive testing of our .NET Customer Support application and its integration into a Siebel CRM Enterprise solution.
· The role will involve working closely with Product Managers to understand the functional designs of the systems, and with product developers to define the test strategies, test plans, and execute test strategies.
· This is not a black box testing job.
· The responsibilities will include digging into the code, understanding it, and devising test cases to thoroughly test the code.
· Automation using Quick Test Pro will be a key part of the role.
· This is a senior level role and the successful candidate will need to own a complete release cycle, including integration testing and end-to-end testing across all systems.
· The successful candidate needs 5-10 years of experience either testing or developing .NET applications, 2-3 years of experience as a lead.
· It would also be good to have experience with automation tools and processes, code coverage generation, and corner case testing.
