About the Team:
The Underwriting and Eligibility Development team is composed of seasoned analysts and applications developers supporting several applications and Services to maintain collateral analytics and data for mortgage loans.
About the Position:
This position acts as a liaison between business and technology partners to produce technical system specifications, logical data models, capture metadata information, and bring resolution to production support issues.
Responsibilities:

§ Use business, technology and application domain subject matter expertise to analyze and translate business requirements into technical system specifications and data specification.
§ Work with Developers and architect to understand and document high level design artifacts including process flows and activity diagrams.
§ Prepare and present different analysis artifacts for new features/enhancements to Business and Technology partners
§ Perform detailed analysis of new features/enhancements in response to business policy changes, conduct impact analysis and specify functional and data changes required to meet new business requirements
§ Use domain subject matter expertise to identify impact of changes to cross-functional areas resulting in a more effective specification, minimized project risk, and efficient execution
§ Perform system research and analysis to assist in providing a complete resolution to production support issues.
§ Communicate clearly and precisely in business and technical terms
Qualifications:
Must-Have Skills:
These must-have skills are skills you won't hire someone without.
§ BS/BA degree in a related field, i.e., Business, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or have equivalent work experience
§ Extensive Experience in Data Analysis including data mapping, cleaning, transforming, and modeling.
§ Excellent analytical skills (ability to break down complex tasks and concepts into manageable pieces; ability to aggregate and structure singular tasks and patterns/themes into clear unifying concepts)
§ Knowledge of the software development lifecycle including hands-on experience with requirements capture, root cause analysis and/or testing required
§ Experience in using structured analysis & design and object-oriented analysis & design methodologies to implement workable IT solutions
§ Experience in using automated requirements capture tools, e.g., DOORS, Requisite Pro.
Nice to Have Skills:
These Nice-to-Have Skills are skills you would prefer someone to have, but they don't have to have them to be selected.
§ Expertise in Data Modeling and translating data requirements into data specifications.
§ Expertise using typical application support tools, e.g., TOAD, Excel, Visio etc.
§ Five years of progressively responsible work experience including leading a team, planning and managing projects and delegating tasks, preferably in the Financial Services industries, e.g., mortgage, banking, insurance
