Developer III performs high complexity (i.e. system level applications) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents. The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles.

The Client is looking for a consultant who has some prior Fannie or Freddie experience OR with mortgage or finance exp

 

Must-Have Skills:
1. Ability to work well with others in a large (50-100 people) team.
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
3. 10 years software development experience.
4. 5 years of progressive experience developing applications with Java and J2EE technologies.
5. Thorough understanding of J2EE technologies and frameworks, especially iBatis, JSF, facelets, Richfaces, and Spring DAO.
6. Thorough understanding of OO Design, Programming, and Design patterns.
7. 5+ years experience developing with an RDBMS (Oracle preferred) and SQL.
8. 3+ years experience in working with UNIX environment including developing shell scripts.
9. Ability to independently research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex problems
10. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
11. Ability to work against aggressive deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and to adapt to changing business requirements
12. Ability to prepare and present software life cycle documents for review and inspection as required.
13. Ability to contribute to design and code reviews.

Nice to Have Skills:
1. Experience in developing Financial/Mortgage applications.
2. Working knowledge of Clearcase and ClearQuest.
3. Experience developing in a Weblogic environment.
4. Experience developing in Oracle 11g.
5. Experience developing with Autosys.
6. Prior experience in IR2 is a distinct plus.
