NET Software Engineer

Location: El Segundo, CA

Duration: 3+ months

Face-Face Interview after Telephonic.

 

Summary Description:

This position is responsible for all phases of software development life cycle from design to customer support.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Software Implementation and design
• Develop and maintain the next generation access API
• Update technical documents such as Programmer's Guide.  

 

Work Environment:

This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Southern California development centers and would reside at the El Segundo, California office.

 

Skills & Attributes:

The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work in the software environment.  Be able to work in a team environment and possess excellent verbal & written communication skills. Candidate will have experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) and understand large enterprise application architecture. Candidate must have in-depth knowledge of the .NET Framework including ADO.NET and ADO.NET Entity Framework.

 

Basic Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science
• 8+ years of experience in software development
• 3+ years of experience in Object oriented analysis, design and programming
• 3+ years of experience in programming C# within the last 4 years
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft^® Visual Studio
• 3+ years of experience in ADO.NET and .NET Framework
• 2+ years of experience in programming in C++
• 2+ years of experience in Relational Database Management Systems and SQL
• USpermanent residence

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Teradata Database experience
• Experience with Business Intelligence technology
• Experience with test automation tools, test frameworks and continuous integration.   
• Experience in Source Control and Versioning (e.g. ClearCase or Subversion) within the last 3 years.
