Position: COBOL Developers
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6-12 months
Application Developer responsible for designing, development, and implementation of COBOL modules related to Claims processing.
•Configure, build, develop common test data and test the application or technical architecture components
•Work with client team, developers, designers, and architects to make sure that the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals
•Participate in detailed design sessions and perform the detailed design of application and technical architecture components
•Follow good security coding practices to ensure the application is free of most common coding vulnerabilities
•Participate in code reviews and transitions of the application or technical architecture components to the testers
•Work with client test team to fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing
•Document the application to facilitate maintenance
Ideally the candidate with have Healthcare Payer experience,
