The SharePoint 2010 Administrator is responsible for the architecture, deployment, maintenance,

backup/recovery, monitoring, scale-up/out, and support of these multiple environments. In addition, this role will work with peers on the team to provide guidance and support to SharePoint Administrators throughout the company. The current landscape includes a multiple server SharePoint 2010 farm, with sites that were recently migrated from WSS 3.0.

 

·         5+ years of experience in a related position in a corporate environment.

·         Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting SharePoint 2010.

·         Solid proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2008 platforms.

·         Configuring and administering Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2.

·         Planning, design, development, and deployment of SharePoint.

·         Four year degree in computer science or related field.

·         Architectural design, deployment, configuration and ongoing maintenance of the Windows Servers, IIS, SharePoint Foundation, and SharePoint Servers to support multiple SharePoint environments.

·         Proactively monitor availability, capacity, configuration, performance, and security across all environments.

·         Perform background job configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.

·         Act as a liaison between the SharePoint, Infrastructure, Networking, Storage, and Directory Services Teams.

Four year degree in Computer Science, business administration or related field? Highly desired      

 

Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting SharePoint 2010?  Required      

 

Must have built a large SharePoint farm from scratch or been part of a large farm build out or expansion? Required      

 

Strong PowerShell experience/scripting operational jobs and monitors? Required      

 

Familiar with SP Admin Tool like Control Point or similar? Required      

 

Solid proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2008 platforms and configuring and administering Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2? Required
