Position: Business Analyst
Location: Bloomington, IL
Duration: 6 Months
Best rate $45/hr on CTC or $40/hr on W2
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Formulates training objectives Gathers, analyzes and understands business requirements, from these, develops training requirements Conducts training and educational needs assessments from an organizational, task, and individual perspective.
Performs audience analyses.
Performs process and technology analyses.
Identifies existing State Farm and vendor training content and leverages as appropriate.
Performs post-mortem analysis on previous training programs.
Determines instructional objectives and identifies/integrates key performance indicators.
Develops training and education roadmap.
Develops training approach, tactical training plan, work plans and training estimates, in accordance with business and students.
Determines best means for standardizing training curricula and materials to maximum extent possible while meeting training objectives.
Designs appropriate training curricula and may develop training materials.
In all training efforts, integrates both tool and workflow training, with special emphasis on changes occurring due to the UC Program.
Collaborates with each of the UC Program's analysts and works with them to build and gain approval on the training deliverables.
Defines metrics and critical success factors for training program measurement.
Performs risk analysis and develops risk mitigation strategies.
Creates and completes Detailed Design Documents (enough information to present document to a developer unaffiliated with this project) for all identified education and training needs relating to end-user training.
Designs and develops style guides for the entire initiative Design templates and tools to be used for training all strands of the effort.
Appropriately shares findings with other Organizational Change Management efforts.
Required Skill Sets & Traits:
Subject matter knowledge and experience in taking part in the implementation of large scale training initiatives.
Exceptional ability to solicit requirements and perform needs analysis for training development projects.
Knowledge of and experience using a variety of data gathering techniques. Strong interviewing skills.
Advanced interpersonal skills:
Team player with ability to collaborate with team members and build positive relationships with co-workers, customers, and work groups.
Strong ability to analyze data points and conduct data mining/research.
Ability to think outside of the box to solve problems and achieve results.
Expertise in a variety of training concepts, practices, and procedures.
Experience developing training programs and materials from initial creation as well as modifying existing programs and materials.
Possession of self-motivation to achieve results and develop positive relationships with peers, management, and business partners Possession of strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multi-task.
Knowledge of and experience designing and developing web-based training and e-learning materials.
Advance level expertise in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint,) Experience with Adobe Presenter preferred. Bachelor degree in Education or equivalent 5 to 7 years training analysis and development experience.
Key Deliverables:
In-depth audience and audience needs analyses.
Business process change analyses.
Detailed training strategy that supports the high-level strategy.
Curriculum designs, training designs, template designs.
Tactical work plan, work effort estimates, and schedule.
This is a Monday through Friday position on-site in Bloomington, IL.
Working from an offsite location any day Monday thru Friday is not anticipated or permissible.
