Position: Java Developer with DB2 database exp
Location: Montvale, NJ
Duration: Long term
Locals or nearby
Responsibilities include:
Java programming and building applications to integrate (load/update) data into DB2 database
Generate data extracts from DB2 database using Java, SQL and UNIX Shell scripting
Required Skills:
5 years' experience in Java programming
5 years' experience with SQL querying with DB2 database
5 years' experience with UNIX and shell scripting
Strong Object Oriented programming background
Good understanding of design patterns and multi-threaded programming
Good knowledge of relational databases and data stores
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Strong innovation, problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities
Strong communication and ability to deliver in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Desired Skills:
Servlet, JSP, XML, HTML, Java Script & Tag libraries
Experience in Spring and Struts framework
Application server - Websphere 6.0 or later
IDE - Eclipse, IBM RAD, Flex builder
Version Control (CVS/ Subversion / Git)
DB2 Stored Procedure
