Job Title    :    Mid-Level .Net developer
Location    :    Arlington, VA (LOCAL TO VA/DC/MD Only)
Duration    :    12 + Months
Rate           :    $45/Hr
 
This will REQUIRE 1 F2F interview.
 
About the Ideal Candidate:
Looking for a collaborator who can come in and be flexible and work on all the existing projects
One of the main projects is their main directory software for certifications program, focus is old school .net, heavy DB app, need a heavy knowledge of MS SQL, stored procedures
 
Job Description:
Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:
Team member of Agile Development Group
Works with Agile team to examine requirements, participate in stand-up meetings and sprint planning, retrospective and other team activities
Work within custom developed/defined .NET Framework or standard .Net 2.0/3.5 environments and adhere to all programming standards implemented by team
Perform code development, unit testing and documentation as required by AHRI team
Attend project planning meetings and departmental meetings are requested
Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Team Lead or by team direction
 
General Requirements:
Experience developing solutions in MS Visual Studio 2010 or later
Experience in developing enterprise applications using C# , .Net 3.5/4.0 framework, ASP.Net , WF, WCF, Linq to Sql, Silverlight, JQuery, XAML/XHTML/CSS/JavaScript
Knowledge of software factories, design patterns and their usage in application development
Knowledge of Team Foundation Server and features
Understand implementing complex business rules using custom workflows in WF
Experience in ASP.NET AJAX and Rest API
Experience in writing web services using WCF
Experience in writing high performance stored procedures/Queries in SQL Server 2008
Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning of an application
Solid understanding of DBMS concepts and standards
Experience with Code Libraries and Code Versioning Repositories Check-in/Out processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
