Position: Oracle DBA with RMS

Duration: 6 months+ contract

Location: Columbus, OH

Rate: DOE

Position Summary:

Manages and maintains all production and non-production Oracle databases and RMS (Oracle Retek) application. Responsible for standards, design of physical data storage, maintenance, access and security administration. Performs backup and recovery, configures database parameters and prototype designs against logical data models, defines data repository requirements, data dictionaries and warehousing requirements. This position optimizes database access and allocates/re-allocates database resources for optimum configuration, database performance and cost.  Works independently with business and IT teams.

• Bachelor in related field or equivalent experience
• Relative certifications are plus, such Oracle OCA, OCP, OCM
• Independent knowledge of Oracle database and Oracle Retek system
• Demonstrate ability to develop and execute strategies for various Oracle database and Oracle application technologies.
• Experienced with AIX, data warehousing, storage and Oracle application stack.
• Demonstrate ability the create shell scripts for task automation
• Experience with mid to large size organization.
• Highly organized and results driven
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to be on call 24x7 and have a flexible work schedule
• Minimum of 3 years of Database Administration experience
