Senior SAS Administrator - SAS, Unix, Linux, Windows
Work Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of SAS administration on Unix/Linux & Windows server environments.
Install, Configure and support SAS 9.2/3 environments including SAS Metadata Server.
Strong Unix knowledge and experience with Shell scripting (3-5 years).
SAS Grid Control Server Administration Experience is preferred.
Experience in working with multiple enterprise teams to setup monitoring & Alerts on servers.
Experience with performance monitoring and tuning of SAS environments desired in concert with other IT support teams.
SAS Platform Process Manager Suite experience is preferred.
SAS Administration experience on Mainframe is desired.
Provides IT systems support for just the SAS environment and suite of products that may include duties such as installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting and repairing.
Also performs quality assurance processes to effectively manage system availability and improve operations.
Includes interaction with other IT groups to support high-level support of networks, such as administration, server builds and upgrades, domain configuration, and performance and tuning. Also includes network administration.
Service Experience 5+ years
Financial Services experience 3+ years required
Multi-Country desired
5+ years of project experience in the quality assurance and testing phases or projects
Deep knowledge of diverse systems and platforms and exposure to new and emerging technologies
Mission Criticality Demonstrated experience working on mission critical customer facing transaction systems
Troubleshooting: Advanced demonstration of diagnostic skills across a broad number of technologies and platforms
Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels (Executive Sponsors to team members); Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical individuals
Demonstrated ability to work with and coordinate efforts amongst multiple outside third parties
Additional Responsibilities:
Analyzes and resolves production issues. Documents and follows up on all issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Engagement with end users, customer IT team to manage problem management activities including root cause analysis.
Participation in creation and implementation of project designs.
Participation in creation and implementation of standards.
Implement and support SAS configurations to meet end-user and IT requirements.
Support of all SAS Environments Implement audit/compliance requirements and patching compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Certification in SAS 9.2 or 9.3 Administration
