Experience
Hands-on implementation and delivery experience of Cisco IPT infrastructure
Hands on experience of migrating users and sites to Cisco IPT
Strong IPT background with hands on experience with
Cisco Call Manager
Unity 5 (desirable)
Unity Connections
Voice gateways both digital and analogue
Cisco SRST
Cisco Unity Express
Cisco Gatekeeper
Attendant Consoles (CUEAC / CUACEE)
Able to understand complex dial plans and implement them in CUCM / Unity Connection
Familiar with integration CUCM systems via inter cluster trunks
Ability to work in all aspects of IPT: requirements capture, design and planning, implementation, service introduction, and service support.
Integration of CUCM with third party CTI solutions
Detailed understanding of and experience with;
CUCM Versions 7/8.X
Unity Connections 8.X
Cisco IOS 15.x
PBX Feature Sets
IPT Architecture and Issues (Packetization, VAD, SS/MGWs, Jitter, Latency, COS, Security, Firewalls, Session border Controllers, etc.)
SIP, H.323, TDM Trunking (E1/T1/J1, BRI, PRI, Ground-Start, Wink-Start, Loop-Start, etc), Hunt Groups,
Codecs, Signaling Protocols (QSIG/Q.931, R1/R2 CAS, FXO/S, NI2, TR41459, HKTA2015, etc.)
Good understanding of EF/AF CoS/QoS for measuring on-net routing of voice traffic over MPLS
Strong understanding of Cisco Unity Voicemail.
Understanding of Network Management (SNMP etc.)
Proven experience of working directly with customers
Experience of working in a matrixed global organisation supporting local and remote teams delivering solutions to customer requirements
Ability to maintain accuracy & quality when being asked to deliver under pressure.
Ability to prioritise and & apply time management principles
Hands-on troubleshooting experience and ability to quickly resolve problems with minimal supervision
Well-developed reporting and presentation skills,
Successful in maintaining productive working relationships with other departments
Ability to identify opportunities for business growth and initiate and drive improvements including re-usable components
Ability to work with Telecom Providers
Ability to work with and integrate in a multi-vendor environment.
