Responsibilities:
| Large Financial Institution needs a 6-8 month, Full-Time, On-Site…… Expert SAS 9.1.3, 9.2, 9.3 Platform Administrator that has experience maintaining large, highly complex SAS implementations within a multiple AIX server/LPAR environment. This positions requires a person(s) that can work in a highly complex environment with little to no learning curve. Candidates should be able to work alone and amongst a group immediately. Candidate(s) must have experience administering SAS EBI, High Performance Analytics, Enterprise Miner, Data Management Server, SAS Scoring Accelerator for Teradata, Model Manager, SAS Viisual Analytics (Distributed), and Websphere. This candidate must have experience performing installations, migrations and promotion. Finally, experience with Futrix is desired. A large financial institution in Columbus, OH is seeking an extremely experienced, very seasoned SAS Platform Administrator(s)/Architect(s). The SAS environment is highly complex with multiple versions of SAS, multiple Metadata Server and multiple installed with various LPAR's of their AIX server farm. Their AIX server pulls data from a GPFS attached to AMC storage. The candidate must have expert level experience with SAS Metadata data and managed a multi-tiered topology in a AIX environment. The candidate must be able to administer SAS EBI, SAS High Performance Analytics, SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS Data Management Server, SAS Scoring Accelerator for Teradata, SAS Model Manager, SAS Visual Analytics (Distributed). The candidate should be able to perform basic UNIX tasks with an AIX environment pertaining to SAS as well as administer Websphere for the SAS web applications. The candidate should have experience performing installations, migrations and promotions. Experience with Futrix Administrator is a plus. The candidate must have strong experience and skills with the following duties and responsibilities, but also possess the ability to work with little direct supervision in a team environment interfacing and relying on several client employees in order to do your job, while maintaining excellent troubleshooting skills and demonstrating effective oral and written communication skills. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and facilitation skills (verbal and written).
SAS Consultant Skill Sets, Duties and Responsibilities: • At least five years experience in administering in a multi-tiered topology SAS9 environment. • At least five years experience within an AIX infrastructure with GPFS and AMC storage. • Minimum of 5 years building long term demand and pricing forecasts/models. • Experience administering SAS EBI, High Performance Analytics, Enterprise Miner, Data Management Server, SAS SCoreing Accelerator for Teradata, SAS Model Manager. • Experience working in a environment with multiple metadata server, makng a complex architecture. • Experience administering SAS9.1.3, SAS9.2 and SAS9.3. • Minimum 5 years experience performing installations and migrations. • Experience with the AIX OS. • Experience administering SAS web applications from within a Webshpere container. • Experience with SAS Visual Analytics within a distributed Teradata appliance. • Experience with SASGRID is a plus • Experience with Futrix is a plus. • Experience working with end users from a teaching/guidance perspective • Experience troubleshooting a host of architectural issues ranging from security and access to performance problems.
