Required Skills/Experience:
Proven ability to drive from very high level concepts to a detailed understanding of component design and implementation.
Ability to conceptualize business and technical solutions and articulate ideas clearly and concisely. Self starters that can take loosely defined assignments and drive them to structured work
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Be equally comfortable working with management, business SME's and hands on development teams.
Capable of defining and creating a variety of standard IT project deliverables throughout all project lifecycle phases.
Ability to interface with and drive work with team members at different levels
Comfortable in an agile, demanding, matrix managed and highly dynamic project environment. Effective at planning and driving work in an adaptive way.
Ability to define and do integration across platforms and vendor integration.
Be comfortable getting hands-on in technical solutions. Specific Technical Expectations include items such as:
Strong Experience creating stored procedures, triggers, views, materialized views and Unix shell scripts. Knowledge of Informatica and ERWIN toolsets are highly desirables.
Provides technical assistance and mentoring to others for developing conceptual, logical and physical databases.
Ability to work with others to advise them on performance tuning SQL, PL/SQL code Unix shell scripts and ETL.
Experience in modeling and concepts for Data warehouse, OLTP, and OLAP environments
Designs and develops logical and physical layers of various databases.
Working independently within guidelines, manages database distribution, security and access requirements.
Forecasts long-range requirements for database administration.
Ensures completeness and integrity of reporting, back-ups and restores.
Adheres to administrative policies and procedures, priorities and methodologies.
5+ years of IT experience in Oracle development
