Primary responsibilities for this role are to:
• Provide technical support for PeopleSoft and other vendor applications.
• Analyze, design, develop, test, implement and maintain PeopleSoft AP and GL programs and customizations.
• Assist with testing and implementation of software upgrades and patches that affect applications.
Additional responsibilities will include:
• Perform application design activities by translating functional specifications provided by business systems analysts.
• Write detailed design specifications for application requirements which include business rules, screens, interfaces, security, reports and definition of data and error messages.<li>Write program code, test and debug applications.
Requirements for this role include:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years experience in developing, installing and/or maintaining custom developed or vendor supplied applications.
• Minimum of 2 years experience using Peoplesoft development tools, including PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Query, Crystal, SQR, nVision, Data Mover, Integration Broker, Change Assistant.
• Solid working knowledge of Peoplesoft AP and GL modules.
• Experience in designing, developing, testing and implementation of applications as well as experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Proficiency with ASP.NET using C#, DB2, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, and Stored Procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to effectively plan work activities and provide project manager with time estimates.
• A self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• An understanding of UML, Design Patterns and SQL Server would be a plus
