Job Title: SQL Server 2012 Developer
Location: Andover, MA
Duration: 6 Months+
Skills:
· Proficient in writing stored procedures and performance tuning with SQL Server 2012.
· Well versed with Linux systems.
· Should be able to write new code and modify existing Perl scripts on Linux machines.
· Understanding of tomcat server on a Linux machine.
· Basic understanding of ganglia monitoring.
· Troubleshooting database related errors with SQL Server.
· Writing complex stored procedures with SQL Server 2012
· Writing new and debugging old code in PERL using CPAN modules.
· Refreshing databases on QA from PROD regularly.
· Addressing issues with tomcat server on Linux machine ( memory issues, tomcat service restart issues and analyzing errors using ganglia reports )
· Working with Unix admins to resolve Linux server related issues.
· Working with off shore DBA team to patch or upgrade SQL Servers both on QA & PROD.
