Position: LEAD COGNOS DEVELOPER

Location:  Boston, MA

Minimum Requirements:

10+ years experience overall – primary strength Cognos reporting and specific related.  Recent work in investment/financial sector a definite positive.

Experience in Lead capacity - must be highly-proficient in use of Cognos as will advise management on the efficient use of Cognos and assist with the design and development of (Cognos) reporting frameworks to meet the expanding needs of the user community.

Experience with OpenPages a plus

 

Description:

Under the direction of the project and product managers, work with business analyst and program owners to define, design, implement new reports or enhance existing reports to meet the business users need using Cognos within the IBM OpenPages application.

Serve as a technical advisor for the direct user development capability for developing Cognos queries and simple reports.

Advises management on the efficient use of Cognos.

Assist with the design and development of (Cognos) reporting frameworks to meet the expanding needs of the user community.

Assist in the creation of requirements documents and define, document and review designs specs and report prototypes.
