Job Title :Network Systems Engineer
Location: Camarillo CA
Duration: 1 year contract.

 

The Engineer is responsible for participating in the design, implementation, and maintenance of an Information System infrastructure.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Networking LAN/WAN, TCP/IP expert-level
CISCO equipment configuration (ASA, Firewall, Router, Switch), with load-balancing/failover
Network Services – DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TELNET, FTP, SNMP, DHCP
Familiar with modern IT systems and networking concepts, practices and procedures.
Requires heavy technical expertise, excellent planning and organization, and strong communication skills
Windows Server 2003/2008 Enterprise 64-bit – install and configure, clustering/load-balancing
Windows Active Directory – install and configure, Group Policies, Administration
VMWare Clustering ESX5.x/ESX4.x/Virtual Center – install and configure
Network Monitoring – NetQoS, SolarWinds or similar
Network Cabling Infrastructure
WAN Technologies – MPLS, VPN
Enterprise Backup – NetBackup or similar, VM Backup technologies, Deduplication, Tape Library
Physical Server setup – IBM x3650, Remote Management, RAID
Antivirus – McAfee or similar
Server Patching – WSUS or similar

 

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS:
F5 LTM/ASM – configuration and maintenance
Linux RHEL 4.x and above – install and configure
Citrix Administration – Security Gateway, Presentation Server
SQL Server 2003/2008 Administration
Intrusion Prevention – Cisco IPS, McAfee HIPS
SAN, Fiber Channel technologies
Change Control and Security Audits
Disaster Recovery
