QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER
• Develop and implement Receiving Inspection Plans and floor support programs • Execute and implement methods to maintain an established Quality Assurance system • Support Verification and Validation activities • Ensure timely disposition of nonconforming material and the reduction of Nonconforming Reports (NCMRs) • Ensure Welch Allyn is in compliance with FDA and European regulations • Work in a dynamic environment that empowers teams and contributes to projects while building relationships • Create procedures and work instructions to assist with the transition from development to manufacturing, and the ongoing maintenance of medical devices • Identify and develop process improvement projects to ensure areas of responsibility are streamlined, and business / user friendly
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in an engineering discipline • Strong facilitation, documentation, communication, problem-solving skills • Knowledge and understanding of methods for quality system auditing, Lean and Six Sigma methods, design of experiment (DOE), process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ), regression analysis and statistical sampling methods • Ability to understand medical device regulations and standards
