Java/J2EE Developer            

Work Location : Rancho Cordova , CA

Duration : 5 Months+

Rate : Market

 

Note : Locals Needed , who can attend In-Person after initial telephonic Round

As a senior level Java application developer, you will create and support CoreLogic's web applications and products using Java technology. This position requires the ability to work effectively as a member of an Agile development team with tight deadlines, possibly supporting multiple projects, with evolving requirements. The position also requires the ability to design and code with quality and performance as a constant focus.

Primary Responsibilities:               1. Agile Scrum Team Participation (requirements analysis, design, estimation, development, unit testing, function testing, deployment)

 

2.Production support, training and education, supporting other teams, improvement and innovation research.

Education:           Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

Experience:        Experience

• 8+ years development experience in Java.

• 3+ years experience in a J2EE environment using JBoss, WebSphere, or WebLogic

• 3+ years experience with servlets, JSP, XML, Ajax, and JavaScript

 

Knowledge and Skills

• Java and Object Oriented Programming

• SQL

• JSP, Servlets, HTML, JavaScript, CSS

• Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL databases

• XML, XSLT, XML Beans

• Spring, IoC, AOP

• Strong understanding of architectural concepts and design patterns.

• Strong understanding of web development performance issues.

• Strong understanding of concurrency programming, and threading issues.

• Familiarity with Eclipse, Maven, Subversion

• Familiarity with Persistence Frameworks: Hibernate, or iBatis.

• Familiarity with Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, Struts and Web Services

• While development is done in a Windows environment, candidate should be comfortable with Unix (Linux).

• Ability to work with a geographically diverse team.

• Very good written and verbal communication skills

• Familiarity with the Agile SCRUM process

• Committed to test driven development

• Significant contributor on at least three major projects
