Business Analyst needed with Seibel, CRM Experience

Location               : Foster City, CA

Duration              : 6+ months

 

The main function of a solution systems analyst is to analyze science, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for CRM applications. A typical business systems analyst is responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing CRM systems including Siebel, OBIEE, and OnDemand and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations. An entry level business systems analyst typically has a Bachelors degree in a computer related major with broad knowledge and experience related to computer systems and technologies. As the levels progress, the years experience increase along with leadership expectations.

Education/Experience
o Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
o 6-8 years experience required

Responsibility level
o Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor

Skills
o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills (Required)
o Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
o Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)
o Strong knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models (Required)
o Strong background within CRM and experience with mapping requirements against package software solutions such as Siebel.
o Strong knowledge and background with Siebel and prebuilt functionality within the application. Can perform necessary GAP analysis to determine if requirements can be supported with configuration vs.. customization.
o Demonstrate the ability to manage requirements and work closely with the business partners, developers, QA team throughout the lifecycle of the project through implementation.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Advise clients on requirements for the organization and translate those to programmers and developers
o Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
o Advise management on current system principles and necessary updates and recommendations
o Supervise the expansion or modification of system to serve new purposes or improve work flow
o Lead and deliver the project functional design document by translating business requirements to system functional design.
o Work with the development team to translate requirements and functional design to technical design
o Manage requirements and change controls throughout the lifecycle of the project.
o Assist with supporting UAV with business partner teams

Background and experience in gathering business requirements and able to translate it to package software design (Siebel premises).
